Yashar Bish

Yashar Bish can be found in the North Laine by Inside Out cafe and opposite the Brighton Sausage Shop.

96 Gloucester Road, North Laine. BN1 4AP – here’s a map

Yashar Bish exterior

Yashar Bish is the place to go for ethnic rugs, cushion covers, throws and eastern lamps in Brighton. Instead of being an Aladin’s Cave, actually looks like one, and even if your not intending to make a purchase its a great space to browse over its two floors (make sure you go upstairs).

Yashar Bish interior

Yashar Bish is run by local Kim Yashar-Bish and her Turkish husband Mahmut, who imports the rugs from all over Asia and the Middle East. All rugs are authentic and are priced from £75 upwards (antique rugs can go for thousands).

Visit the Yashar Bish site for more info.
