However it provides a much needed platform for local bands to showcase their talents...and maybe every band is not to the reviewers tastes but many people love watching new bands and are actually able to open their minds to different musical genres. The Pressure Point is an integral venue in the Brighton gig scene and have a variety of different nights on offer to suit all kinds of musical tastes. I am seeing The Crucible there on 22nd April, a fantastic rock/prog rock band who will blow everyone away! The Pressure Point may not be sparkling clean and newly painted!
